| What is Media Share? |
Media Share allows you to upload images from your
computer/camera via your Web browser and share them with friends and
family. You can create multiple galleries, order prints, download
custom size images and enter them in to the Casio Public Gallery to
win competitions & prizes.
Each gallery you create will be given
a unique Web link that you can give to anyone and allow them to view
your pictures. |

| Registering |
Before you can use Casio Media Share you must first
register.
If you have recently purchased a Casio camera
and registered it on this web site you can click
here to register for Media Share.
When you have completed
the registration process you will be sent an email containing your
username and password along with a verification link.
You will need
to click on the verification link in the email to validate your
email address you gave when registering. Once you have done this you
are ready to sign-in. |

| Signing In |
Enter your user name and password in the 'Registered
users sign-in' boxes provided on the left of this page then click
the 'Log in' button.
Your user name and password would have been
sent to you in a verification email sent you immediately after
registering for Media Share. |

| Media Share Home |
Upon signing in or clicking the 'Media Share Home'
link in the left navigation column you will directed to the Media Share
Home page, if this is the first time you have logged in or have not
yet created any galleries you will be prompted to
create a new gallery,
otherwise you will now see a list of your galleries indicated by a
framed picture icon. The number below the icon in brackets indicated
how many images are contained within that gallery.
You may
view the contents of your galleries by clicking the framed picture
icon. |

| Creating new Galleries |
You can
create a new gallery by clicking
the 'Add New Gallery' link in the left navigation column. You will
be prompted to enter a name for your new gallery, after clicking the
submit button you will be directed to the Media Share Home page
which will now show an icon for your new gallery. Click on the icon
to enter the new gallery.
If you are already within a gallery
when you add a new gallery, the gallery will be created within that
gallery. You can create as many galleries as you like within other
galleries eg you may wish to create a gallery called "John", a
gallery within it called "Holiday Pics" and another gallery within
that called "Ibiza" |

| Navigating Galleries |
You can start your navigation by clicking 'Media
Share Home' in the left navigation column this will show all the
main (parent) galleries you have. You may click on the icons to view
all the images and (sub) galleries contained with in the parent
gallery.
If you have created (sub) galleries within the
parent gallery you may then click on the (sub) gallery icon to view
the images and further sub galleries within it. Each level of sub
galleries you click will update the navigation links at the top of
the gallery page so you can visibly see where you have navigated to |

| Deleting Galleries |
Navigate to the gallery you wish to delete. Once you are in the gallery you
wish to delete click the 'Gallery Options' link from the left
navigation column. You will now see a link called 'Delete this
gallery' click on it to delete the gallery and all the images with
it.
Please note that if there are other galleries
(sub-galleries) contained with the gallery you wish to delete them
first. |

| Gallery Links |
Each gallery has a unique URL link that you can give
to your friends and family. When anyone enters this link in to their
web browser they will be able to view/download any of the pictures
and any pictures within any of the sub-galleries you may have
created within it.
To view the URL link navigate to the
relevant gallery. The link is displayed within the gallery. |

| Uploading Images |
Navigate to the gallery that you wish to upload an
image to then from the left navigation column click the 'Browse'
button, this will open a small window so you can locate the image on
your computer, once you have located your image click the 'open'
button, this will now close the small window.
Now enter any
notes about the image in the 'notes' box located below the 'Browse'
button, then click the 'Upload' button. A progress window will now
open to inform you about your upload. Once this has finished
transferring your image to Media Share you will be shown a small
'thumbnail' of your original picture.
The small 'thumbnail'
may look a little squashed but this is normal and is only used to
help you locate your images quickly.
In the interest of
security all images that you upload will be reviewed by a member of
the Casio Media Share team, until this has been done your images
will not be accessible via your gallery URL links or the Casio
public galleries. Reviewing should be completed within 48 hours. |

| Viewing images |
You can view details about any image you have
uploaded by navigating to the relevant gallery and clicking on the
small thumbnail. This will open a page that will show a small image
of the original picture plus technical details, this page will also
allow you to download the image in different sizes and formats,
order prints, change notes and delete the image. |

| Delete an image |
View the image by navigating to the relevant gallery
and clicking on the small thumbnail image this will then present you
with a new page containing lots of information. click the 'delete
this file' link next to the small thumbnail of your image. Your
image will now be deleted |

| Update image notes |
View the image by navigating to the relevant gallery
and clicking on the small thumbnail image this will then present you
with a new page containing lots of information. Enter the your new
notes in to the notes box provided and click 'update'. Your notes
will now be updated |

| Downloading Images |
View the image by navigating to the relevant gallery
and clicking on the small thumbnail image this will then present you
with a new page containing lots of information. Near the bottom of
the page select the size of image you wish to download from the
'download size' drop down menu.
The default selection is the
original size of the picture you uploaded. You may select 'custom'
from the drop down list and enter your own height and width (in
pixels) in the custom boxes next to the drop down list.
Next
select the format of the image you wish to download from 'file
format' drop down list, again this defaults to the original format
of the picture you uploaded.
Now click the 'download' button
and you will be prompted by a download screen, click 'Save' and
locate a place on your computer where you would like the image to be
saved. Click 'Save' and the download will begin. |

| Casio Public Gallery |
You can add some of your pictures in to the public
Casio gallery to enter competitions etc. To do this, view the image
that you wish to add to the public gallery. Next to the 'Casio
Gallery Access' you will see the current status of the image and a
'change' link, click the 'change' link to toggle the images public
gallery status.
You can view all the images in the Casio
Public Gallery by clicking 'Public Gallery Images' in the left
navigation column. |

| Multi-upload |
To upload multiple images or directories on your computer at once you must install an active-x component on your pc, the first time you visit the multi-upload page you will be automatically prompted to install the component, click 'proceed / ok'. To install you must have administrator permissions enabled on your computer. |
